The Oust media library network in Brocéliande Community (Morbihan) offers a writing contest as part of the animation Over the trees and showcases. Young writers, ages 8 to 12, can use their imaginations to write the sequel to a detective story.
Sylvie Le Brun, media library agent and animation referent presents the beginning of this story: the sheep Tond’Ton Jason was found unconscious in the window of the grocery store, rue Montauban and his golden fleece has disappeared!
Knit their side of the story
In order to build and flesh out their story, the young authors will leave looking for clues, information in the streets of the town. “They will find the detailed profile of the six characters, Tond’Ton Jason, Al Lou’Bard, Miss Peignoir, Mamie Perdlefil, Fildefair, Chat’pardeur, as well as various elements decorated with wool” she explains.

The police story can be written individually or collectively and then submitted in paper or digital version to the media library, until May 31. The text should consist of one or two sheets at the most. The children will have a constraint: they will have to integrate the characters and a minimum of three elements decorated with wool appearing in the windows identifiable by the Au fil des Arbres logo. Clues will be removed from stores and art studios as of May 15.
