Anders Behring Breivik was moved to Ringerike prison on Tuesday morning, reports Ringerikes Blad.
The date of the move until Tuesday has been secret.
– The transport was carried out in vehicles, in a collaboration between the police and the prison service, the head of the Correctional Services region south, Eirik Bergstedt, tells the newspaper.
He says the transport was carried out with a small convoy, and went smoothly.
Breivik was moved from Ila prison to Telemark prison in Skien in the autumn of 2013. Now he will continue his imprisonment in Ringerike prison, which, like Skien, has its own ward with a particularly high level of security.
Ringerike prison is located by the Tyrifjord, where Utøya is also located. It is about a mile as the crow flies between the prison and the island where Breivik killed 69 people in 2011.
