Tutwuri.id – Two astronauts perform a spacewalking mission or walk in space to repair the International Space Station (ISS).
Raja Chari and Matthias Maurer undertake a dangerous mission by repairing and expanding the equipment installed on the exterior of the ISS station.
In this thrilling mission, the two astronauts took at least 6 hours 54 minutes which was carried out on Wednesday, March 23.
In the published report, the two astronauts carried out repairs to the radiator sector and replaced the installed camera because it was damaged.
The ISS space station has six radiators, each mounted on the side of the spine frame.
The radiator repair was due to a leak in one of the hoses that serves to draw heat and maintain the temperature of the space station so that it can be inhabited by astronauts.
Previously, a similar mission was carried out by astronauts in 2017 where their task was to remove a leaky hose.
The leaking hose itself was sent back to earth for repairs before finally being sent back in 2019 to the ISS station.

Reporting from Stephanie Wilson, the spacewalk coordinator from Mission Control in Houston via radio astronauts said that they were quite satisfied.
“We are delighted that Raja has had the opportunity to fly Kayla and Tom’s skies smooth and friendly,” he said.
“Of course. Much better than business class,” concluded Chari.
