Despite the illness that is undermining him, Arno goes all the way with his goals. He returned to the stage (in showcase at the VRT, at the Ancienne Belgique and twice at the Casino of Ostend, his hometown) and assured by delivering uncompromising performances. As for his new album, we can confirm that it will be released by [PIAS] Belgium in June 2022. Probably during the second fortnight, around the summer solstice (June 21) and the Fête de la Musique. This disc, Arno recorded it at the Brussels ICP studios with the musicians who accompanied him on stage during his last concerts.

A real new album
Arno has a reputation for not hanging out in the studio. This urgency to box his songs is therefore not linked to the circumstances even if the self-proclaimed charm singer knows that the clock is ticking. He applied himself in his writing. The voice -as in his concerts- is at the top. Nor did he go looking for old drawer bottoms. These are just new songs written in the last few months. This disc, he prepared it as he prepared all his discs before. He was the one who drove it from start to finish. Gently and in depth… The recording finished, the album still needs to be mixed and mastered.
