Circulating leader videos Chechen, Ramzan Kadyrovclaim the nationalist army Ukraine fear of facing Pro-Russian Chechen forces.
The statement he uploaded in a video which showed he had succeeded in ‘paralyzing’ the Ukrainian troops.
“Nationalists (Ukrainian Forces) are very afraid to fight with real fighters,” wrote the text accompanying the video.
Citing the Associated Press, the video also shows the besieged city of Mariupol.
So far, the Associated Press has been unable to verify the date, location of the material or conditions in the video.
Russian media, RIA Novosti, also showed a video containing a number of buildings under fire in Mariupol on Monday (28/3). The buildings include a theater and an airport.
Not long ago, Kadyrov did say he would invade Mariupol and liberate this region from Ukrainian troops. He also said Russian troops surrounded the buildings.
“Russian soldiers came building after building to free Mariupol from the Nazi criminal gangs,” he wrote on Telegram.
Earlier, Russian troops had besieged the city for several weeks. They also besieged the main strategic port of Mariopul.
From the beginning of the invasion to this day, Mariopul has been one of the cities that Russia continues to bombard. According to local officials, explosions are heard every ten minutes.
Fierce fighting between Russian and Ukrainian troops in the city was inevitable.
