The PSG, ‘the factory’ of France

PSG is one of the teams that works best from the youth academy in France, despite the fact that later the youngsters emigrate mostly outside of Paris in search of opportunities. The Parisian team has broken a record in the last list compiled by Didier Deschamps, contributing up to eight players trained at the Camp des Loges training centeralthough practically all of them do not currently play in the first team of the French giant.

The eight players France has trained at PSG are: Alphonse Aréola (West Ham), Christopher Nkunku (Leipzig), Moussa Diaby (Leverkusen), Adrien Rabiot (Juventus), Mike Maignan (Milan), Kingsley Coman (Bayern de Múnich), Mattéo Guendouzi (OM) y Presnel Kimpembe, the latter being the only one who is still at PSG and with importance within the first team.

PSG’s great concern in the summer is the massive exodus of youth squads that it may suffer due to the lack of opportunities by Pochettino. Players like Xavi Simons, Michut, Zaire-Emery, the jewel in the crown, Ayman Kari or Bitshiabu can leave the French capital to make the jump to a team where they do have regularity with the first team. What neither Leonardo nor Al Khelaïfi want is for a situation like the current one to be repeated in the national team, whose nucleus is made up of footballers who took their first steps in the training center of the current leader of Ligue 1.
