The game was suspended at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto (Canada), where no injuries were reported, when there were 4 minutes and 5 seconds left before the break and the local Raptors dominated by a clear 66-38.
The fire in one of the speakers that hang from the upper area of the field set off the alarms and led the firefighters to request the evacuation of the thousands of fans present as a precautionary measure.

Spectators proceeded to leave the stands as firefighters checked the facilities on the pitch.
No injuries have been reported in the incident, Toronto police reported on their Twitter account.
At the moment no official decision has been announced, neither from the authorities nor from the NBA, on the temporary or definitive suspension of the game.
