This is regarding the provisions and regulations set by the AFC for the 2023-2024 season, related to the quota of foreign players registered by the participants of the prestigious competition in Asia.

Previously, the AFC set the quota for foreign players to be 3+1, where three foreign players were allowed from any country, and one foreign player had to come from an AFC participating country or Greater Asia.

Currently, the AFC has issued a new rule, namely the 5+1 quota format.
