Several drunk drivers
Saale-Holzland-Kreis: Police inspection officers had to deal with drunk drivers three times on Saturday.
While a 66-year-old caused a traffic accident with her car in Großeutersdorf in the morning, in which the opponent of the accident got away with the shock, the accident had far-reaching consequences for the person who caused it. She had to hand in her driver’s license on the spot because the breath alcohol test showed a value of 2.36 per mil.
Just 2.5 hours later, at around 12:45 p.m., a witness noticed a driver in the area of a Kahla gas station who was having serious problems driving his vehicle. Police officers checked the 43-year-old shortly after he continued his journey. The man had 2.13 per thousand alcohol in the blood.
At the other end of the Saale-Holzland district, a 51-year-old was walking on the B 88 from Camburg in the direction of Naumburg shortly before 5 p.m. Other road users worried about his unsafe gait and called the police. When the patrol from the Saale-Holzland district arrived, the colleagues from the Burgenland district had already found what they were looking for and had brought their local drinker home safely. With 2.53 per thousand, the man reached the peak value of the day.
In the future, all three will probably only be allowed to walk or use public transport in public transport.
