“The toxicology study is currently reporting 10 substances found in Taylor Hawkins’ body, including cannabis, antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opiates,” the researchers said. Law enforcement officers continue their work “to fully clarify the facts leading to Hawkins’s death,” it said.

Shortly before his death, Hawkins had complained of chest pains. A doctor who came to the scene has tried in vain to resuscitate the drummer.

The Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform in Bogota on Friday. The concert was canceled and the thousands of people waiting for the show to start observed a minute of silence. The band also canceled a concert scheduled for March 27 in Brazil’s Sao Paulo.

Hawkins had been part of Foo Fighters since 1997, playing drums in some of their biggest hits, including “Learn to Fly” and “Best of You”. He was also previously the drummer for Canadian singer Alanis Morissette.
