Punctual, as always, the Razzie arrive to put the worst films of the year to shame. This 42nd edition has had two protagonists: ‘Diana, the musical’ and the sequel to ‘Space Jam’. The first, a film version of a Broadway musical about the Princess of Wales, took home five awards, including worst actress, writing and directing. The icing on the cake for this experiment that, after thirty performances, canceled the show. Same luck for the second part of ‘Space Jam’, which takes three awards, LeBron James’ debut is not convincing and the NBA star stands with the worst performance of the year. Jared Leto also got a slap on the wrist for his role in ‘The House of Gucci’. While Will Smith, winner of 4 razzies and Oscar nominee this year, received the redemption award for his great performance in ‘The Williams Method’. But this latest installment will be remembered for the creation of a special award for Bruce Willis, who with 8 razzies behind him, has achieved his own category to reward his worst performances of the year. The Razzie are a mockery of the worst cinema in Hollywood. The award that no one would ever want to receive.-Writing-
