Rob Vreeken is a Hurricane reader. Maybe that’s not the most distinctive thing about him, but we really like to report that. In addition, and we like that even more, he has decided that he would like to contribute to De Hurricane.
Vreeken has earned his journalistic spurs. As an eighteen-year-old he started at De Zaanlander, later switched to De Typoon (edited, among other things, the legendary All People section) and the rest is history.
Vreeken is currently stationed in Istanbul, where he is a correspondent for de Volkskrant, among others. He already speaks a little Turkish.
