Graz (energate) – Verbund and Energie Steiermark have started construction of the Gratkorn hydroelectric power plant. The power plant on the Mur north of Graz will have two Kaplan turbines with a total output of 11 MW and will go into operation in 2024. The domestic suppliers are investing almost 80 million euros in the project.
