8:15 p.m., The First, Friendship at Second Sight, Comedy
After the death of his wife, the optician Elmar Kern (Jürgen Heinrich) lacks the drive to start over. This is exactly what Marlene (Teresa Harder) foresaw and came up with something while she was alive to get him out of his grief: a detailed program that she posthumously gave to Elmar in recorded video messages. Marlene’s last business decision, to join the cozy optician’s shop of all things with the sales-oriented chain “Weitblick”, puzzles Elmar. Suddenly he has to subordinate himself to the regional manager Frank (David Rott).
8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Old One: Bad blood, crime series
When theater director Matti König (René Dumont) disappears after a trip to the mountains, the team led by Richard Voss (Jan-Gregor Kremp) investigates. The missing person had recently received several death threats. The suspicion soon arises that it is not a matter of a missing person, as originally assumed, but of a murder. Even if there is no trace of a corpse so far.
8:15 p.m., kabel eins, fatherly joys, comedy
Felix (Matthias Schweighöfer) enjoys his childless single existence to the fullest. Now and then he goes for sperm donation and in a second of enlightenment realizes that he not only wants to be a father but also wants to be a father. He locates the presenter Maren (Isabell Polak), recipient of his sperm donation, and tries to win her heart. Too bad that Maren is about to marry Ralph (Tom Beck).
20:15 Uhr, RTLZWEI, The Fast And The Furious – Tokyo Drift, Action
Outsider Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) is obsessed with racing. However, this passion brings him big problems with the American authorities – imprisonment is imminent. His mother therefore sends him to his father, a former US marine, in Tokyo. There Sean quickly gets to know the underground of the Japanese metropolis and is introduced to the circles of the local tuning scene. Illegal drift races in tight parking garages or the congested streets of Tokyo are all the rage.
10:15 p.m., the first, crime scene: virus, thriller
In tranquil Pöllau, Moritz Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer) and Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser) have to solve the violent death of a man from Africa. There are no papers or clues as to the identity of the victim, who was found dead in the local quarry. While Eisner and Fellner investigate, the autopsy of the dead man brings a shocking result: the dead man is infected with Ebola! A disease commando immediately moves in, declares a state of emergency and quarantines the entire village.
