Hanoi (VNA) – El XII Francophone Film Festival
takes place from March 24 to 27 in Vietnamon the occasion of the International Day of La Francophonie (March 20).
At the festival, film-loving viewers have the opportunity to experience the cultural diversity of the French-speaking community through six featured films, the Organizing Committee reported.
The film “Legend about Quan Tien” by director Dinh Tuan Vu is the only Vietnamese film selected to be screened on the occasion, which won the “Silver Lotus” award at the XXI Film Festival of the Indochinese nation in 2019 and the film award national “Silver Comet” in the same year.
Organized by the Delegation of the Belgian Wallonia-Brussels region in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific Office of the International Organization of La Francophonie, the film festival is open to the public free of charge and all films are screened in their original version. /.
