The housing market is overheated; for many people it is virtually impossible to obtain a home to their taste. In a last attempt to be able to buy a house after all, these couples give presenter Martijn Krabbé, architect Bob Sikkes, real estate agent Alex van Keulen and stylist Roos Reedijk permission to search for, buy and renovate a house for them. A house that they only get to see for the first time after the purchase agreement has been signed.

“I understand that people participate,” engineer Bob previously told RTL Boulevard. “You just leave it to the experts.” Even they don’t have it easy. Getting a home is harder than ever and outbidding is the norm. According to Bob, it is therefore a matter of adjusting and measuring with the budget every season.
