Brazil National Team achieve perfect results when entertaining Chile in the fight 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Samba team won 4-0.
CONMEBOL zone 2022 World Cup qualification bring together Brazil vs. Chile. The match took place at the Maracana Stadium, Friday (25/3/2022) morning WIB.
The home team was dominant with 18 attempted shots (9 on target) and 58 percent possession. Meanwhile, Chile recorded 10 attempts (2 on target) and controlled the ball 42 percent.
Brazil almost opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. Thiago Silva’s header was blocked by Chile’s goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo.
Neymar got a golden opportunity through his shot in the 39th minute. Bravo again made a brilliant save and prevented Chile from conceding.
PENALTY! Brazil got a chance to score from the penalty spot two minutes before halftime. Neymar was dropped by Mauricio Isla in the forbidden box.
GOAL! Neymar, who advanced as Brazil’s penalty taker, successfully netted the ball against Chile. The home team is leading 1-0.

2-0! Brazil doubled their lead in the first half injury time. Vinicius Junior beat Bravo with a low shot from the left, maxing out Antony’s through ball.
WHERE! Chile scored a goal three minutes into the second half through Arturo Vidal. The goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) who judged Vidal for offside.
PENALTY! Brazil got the prize from the spot for the second time in the 69th minute. Bravo violated Antony when he was about to stem the cross from Marquinhos’ stomach.
3-0! This time it was Philippe Coutinho’s turn to go forward as Brazil’s penalty taker. The Little Magician kicked the ball into the bottom corner of the Chile goal which Bravo couldn’t stop.
4-0! Brazil scored the fourth goal in the minute of injury time. Richarlison’s left-footed ball rattled Chile’s net.
The score 4-0 for Brazil lasted until the long whistle ended. Tite’s squad continues the positive trend of his team who are unbeaten in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
