According to L’Equipe, Kheira Hamraoui’s lawyer sent a letter to PSG to denounce the treatment that the player suffered from some of her teammates, a few months after the mysterious attack of which she was the victim.
A funny atmosphere reigns within the women’s team of PSG. Returning to competition on January 23 after being the victim of a mysterious attack on November 4, Kheira Hamraoui is going through a certain discomfort. It is the target of a certain hostility on the part of supporters who expressed it in particular during the league match against Montpellier (0-0), on March 11. She is also at odds with several players in the group, close to Aminata Diallo, placed in police custody for 24 hours in this case before being released without any charge being brought against her.
The latter, not retained during the last rallies in the France team, had received the very noticeable support of Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani, who had celebrated a goal in her honor against the Netherlands. Katoto, Diani and Diallo are also teammates at PSG where they would adopt an attitude close to “moral harassment” towards Kheira Hamraoui.
This is what the latter’s lawyer, Me Saïd Harir, denounces in a letter sent to the club. According to The Team, the board sent the letter to the human resources department and the director of legal affairs. He goes back in detail to a “certain number of facts which seriously affect the psychological health of (s)a client in the context of her professional practice”. It also targets the three teammates of Hamraoui.
Diallo, Diani and Katoto accused of having “provoked, threatened, insulted and intimidated” Hamraoui
According to Me Harir, this trio would have “provoked, threatened, insulted and intimidated” his client. “Madame Hamraoui is the victim of repeated actions constituting moral harassment on the part of Mesdames Diallo, Diani and Katoto”. “These behaviors have the effect of degrading my client’s working conditions, undermining her rights, her dignity, altering her mental health and compromising her professional future”, he continues.
Kheira Hamraoui’s lawyer regrets the silence of the club in the face of these actions and calls for measures from PSG to “put an end to the troubles of which she is the victim in order to preserve her mental and physical health”.
