The Ministry of Health will need 62,700 liters of edible soybean oil. This is the order that the ministry intends to place to supply the following institutions:

Dr A.G. Jeetoo Hospital, B.Sequard Mental Health Care Centre, S.Bharati Eye Hospital, SSRN Hospital, Dr Bruno Cheong Hospital, J.Nehru Hospital, New Souillac Hospital, Mahébourg Hospital, Victoria Hospital, ENT Hospital and New Care Centre.
The largest share will be allocated to Victoria Hospital (15,400 liters), followed by AGJeetoo Hospital (12,000 liters). The smaller order is for the S.Bharati Eye Hospital (see table below). A tender exercise has just been launched by the Ministry of Health. Bidders have until April 21 to submit their respective offers for a one-year supply contract. This shipment of oil, which will be purchased by the ministry, should be produced from soybeans and also be refined and edible for a period of twelve months.
