“Russia must understand that they can never win a nuclear war,” he said.
This was conveyed by Jens on the eve of a summit of national leaders of the Western military alliance in Brussels.
“NATO is not part of the conflict. Providing support to Ukraine but not part of the conflict,” Jens said.
“NATO will not send troops to Ukraine. It is very important to provide support to Ukraine and we are increasing it.”
“But at the same time it is also very important to prevent this conflict from turning into a full-fledged war between NATO and Russia,” he added.
