The Cambridges went to the Trench Town area, where reggae legend Bob Marley has lived, among others. William and Catherine therefore describe the area as “the birthplace of reggae music in the heart of Kingston”.
Photos show that the Duke and Duchess undertook various activities. Together with the locals they made music, posed near a statue of Bob Marley and happily shook hands. They also took place in the bobsleigh of the Jamaican bobsleigh team and William kicked a ball on a football field.
