In Langenfeld, a free-roaming dog caused a serious accident. A 17-year-old drove his moped unbraked into a car ahead, which had to slam on the brakes because of the animal.
A runaway dog caused an accident in Langenfeld (Mettmann district) with a seriously injured moped driver. The 17-year-old crashed into a car driving ahead, which suddenly came to a standstill due to emergency braking, the police said on Tuesday evening.
The driver of the car braked hard so as not to injure the dog roaming the street. The teenager was taken to a hospital for treatment. The dog escaped unharmed, a police spokesman said. The driver was also unharmed.
