chairman Jokowi Mania Volunteers (JoMan) Immanuel Ebenezer or Noel was removed from his position as commissioner in a subsidiary BUMN PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), namely PT Mega Eltra. Noel suspected that his dismissal was due to a grudge within the circle of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) after he testified against Munarman.
“Yes, he was removed from the President Commissioner of Mega Eltra, as of today, the letter will be definitively removed tomorrow. So the mechanism is that SOEs give letters to holding, then holding call me, finished then tomorrow a letter from holding placed in Mega Eltra,” said Noel when contacted, Wednesday (23/3/2022).
Noel admits he is confused about the reason BUMN removed himself from the position of President Commissioner of PT Mega Eltra. He even said that the Mega Eltra company had a profit surplus of up to Rp 31 billion since he entered.
“Indeed there is no reason, I asked the reason? Isn’t there, so, In terms of performance, Mega Eltra can check after I make a profit or not, the profit is quite good, Rp. 31 billion, from those who never made a profit. I see. From performance they can’t uber (pursue), I am disabled or have flaws in the company or not, I am subject to corruption, mayor, let alone using money from the company, nor do drugs,” he said.
Noel also suspected that the reason for his removal was due to a personal grudge. This, he said, departed from him who had testified against the alleged terrorism defendant Munarman some time ago.
“That’s why I saw the motive, I saw that there was a grudge in Jokowi’s circle against me, the entrance to the Munarman case so. And Munarman was sentenced to 8 years, the sentence is 8 years, if Munarman is really a terrorist Munarman will be sentenced to death or at least life imprisonment,” he said.
He also suspects that this is because several times he has criticized Jokowi’s government policies. “That’s for sure, it’s the entrance, the suspicion is revenge, because we often criticize Jokowi’s circle of policies,” he added.
