Professor Stijn Baert is an expert in the ‘Blind jumped’ layoff program

Stijn Baert, the well-known professor of labor economics at Ghent University, will act as an expert in the new ‘Blind jumped’. In this VTM program with Nora Gharib, which can be seen on screen from Monday 4 April, five candidates resign from their current employer and jump ‘blind’ into a new job adventure.

Which position they will fill and in which company or sector is one big mystery. Their lives will now take place for at least 38 hours a week in a completely different environment. It is the experts who have chosen the jobs. In addition to Stijn Baert, these are also Ann De Bisschop (well-being expert) and Lize and Frederik (job coaches at VDAB). They search through their networks and in vacancies for jobs that can match the various candidates.
