PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has finally released Honda HR-V 2022, the latest generation for the Indonesian market, Wednesday (23/3/2022). Honda HR-V now has an exterior, interior design, and advanced features.
“Today we are very pleased to be able to present the second generation Honda HR-V which is highly awaited by consumers in Indonesia. After being successful in various countries, the All New Honda HR-V now looks stunning with an increasingly stylish design, more sophisticated features, appearance sportier and more powerful engines,” said Takehiro Watanabe as President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor at the launch, Wednesday (23/3/2022).
The HR-V was first sold in Indonesia since 2015. However, it has never been completely overhauled. The latest refresh of the Honda HR-V in Indonesia was carried out through the 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). Now its form has completely changed.

From the front, the Honda HR-V looks fresher with a new horizontal grille plus a honeycomb grille at the bottom. The line at the top of the grille flows to the headlights on the left and right. The headlights of the Honda HR-V also appear cooler.
Meanwhile, when viewed from the side, the latest HR-V design line is also more luxurious. The drag line from the hood runs through the door handles to the taillights. The sturdy impression of SUV cars is also depicted with firm over fenders, as well as thick skirts that add to the dashing impression of the Honda HR-V.
On the back, it looks cooler than its predecessor. The taillights flow horizontally separated by the Honda logo. The roofline also flows like a coupe.
The All New Honda HR-V is available in four options, namely RS, SE, E, and S. For the RS variant the engine is equipped with a turbo, interestingly enough, Honda has never sold a new variant, namely the HR-V 1.5T RS.

Honda SENSINGTM technology on the All New Honda HR-V includes; Collision Mitigation Braking SystemTM (CMBSTM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow, Auto-High Beam, and Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN). The previous Honda SENSINGTM technology has also been applied to models such as the Honda Odyssey, Honda Accord, All New Honda Civic RS, Honda CR-V and All New Honda BR-V.
All New Honda HR-V has been equipped with various other high standard safety features, such as Honda LaneWatchTM, 4 Airbags, G-CON + ACETM frame structure with Side Impact Beam, ABS + EBD + BA braking technology, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control , Vehicle Stability Assist, Electric Parking Brake, Auto Brake Hold, and Emergency Stop Signal, as well as Seatbelt Reminder for each row of seats.
The All New Honda HR-V is also equipped with advanced features such as Remote Engine Start, Walk-Away Auto Lock, Smart Entry System and Auto Foldable Door Mirror with LED Turning Signal.
From the interior side, the All New Honda HR-V now comes with a 4.2″ Interactive TFT Meter that displays various information while driving, such as Honda SENSINGTM, Rear Seat Reminder, indication of lights on the vehicle and fuel consumption.
The All New Honda HR-V is also equipped with a leather-wrapped Shift Knob, One Push Ignition System & Smart Entry System, Paddle Shift and Auto A/C. The All New Honda HR-V feels more comfortable with quality materials in the cabin which is dominated by black color with seats combined with leather and equipped with Rear A/C Ventilation, Air Diffusion Outlet with 3 modes of air regulation, namely normal, diffusion and closed, and Panoramic Glass Roof.
The All New Honda HR-V is equipped with an 8″ Advanced Capacitive Touchscreen Display Audio which is integrated with Bluetooth, AM/FM Radio, Hands-Free Telephone, WebLink and Smartphone Connection. Audio settings and other functions can also be done easily via the built-in Audio Steering Switch. located on the steering wheel. Other features have also been embedded in this car such as the Multi-Angle Rear View Camera which can display 3 views: Normal View, Wide View, and Top View to help the driver when parking his car.

Talking about engine specifications, the Honda HR-V type RS is equipped with a 1.5L VTec Turbo engine capacity that can spit out 177 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 240 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. While the trim below uses a 1.5L i-VTec DOHC with a claimed power of 121 PS at 6,800 rpm and 145 Nm of torque. All variants use CVT transmission.
