Five years after Chris Van den Durpel (61) last unleashed his characters in Flanders, he returns. Not on television, but with a theater show. “After Urbanus and Jacques Vermeire, it was time for me to try this one too”, laughs Van den Durpel. Initially, he was going to bring this show in 2020, but corona decided otherwise. “In 2020 it was exactly 25 years ago that I started my typing. But celebrating 27 years of career: that’s nice too.”
