The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Board of Directors made changes to the Instruction on the Status and Transfers of Professional Football Players in accordance with the decision taken by FIFA about registered football players and coaches in the clubs affiliated to the Ukrainian and Russian Football Federations due to the war in Ukraine.
According to the statement made by TFF from TFF, with the temporary article added to the instruction, clubs will be able to register contracts they will sign until the end of the 2021-2022 season with a maximum of two of the football players registered as foreign nationals in the clubs affiliated to the Ukrainian and Russian Football Federations, until the end of the 2021-2022 season. In this context, clubs that have registered new players will be able to revise their A team lists in terms of these players until 8 April 2022 at the latest and 24 hours before their first official competition following the registration.
Clubs will be able to register a maximum of two of the other football players (amateur, women’s and futsalfutsal) registered in the clubs affiliated to the Ukrainian Football Federation, until the end of the 2021-2022 season, until 7 April.
In addition, Super League clubs will be able to sign contracts to be valid until the end of the 2021-2022 season with the coaches who are registered as foreign nationals and whose contracts are suspended in the clubs of the Ukrainian and Russian Football Federation, provided that they comply with the relevant instructions and regulations of the TFF, TFF.
