After two consecutive defeats, Niort will try to find the way to success against Auxerre this Saturday (7 p.m.) as part of the 25th day of League 2. The mission will not be easy against a formation which has beaten the Chamois three times in a row (6-0, 4-0, 4-0) in recent confrontations. Before this match, the coach Sebastien Desabre mentioned this at a press conference.

« We have this desire to start again on a good dynamic. We will play at home against one of the best teams in the championship, it will be the opportunity to try to play a good game. We have played 5 games since the resumption: two at home and three away. We had 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. So for a team of our caliber, it’s not that bad from an accounting point of view. We know very well that we are not going to win every game. What bothered me in Grenoble (1-0) is that we lost a bit of cohesion. I’m going to ask the boys to have a solid block, to let go as we did against Toulouse here (2-1). We must give everything, be united, and expect to race a lot against Auxerre. AJA have good players, a good possession game. We’ll have to be good. We know that it will be difficult but that we have the intrinsic values to come out with good matches against these teams. It’s 14-0 against Auxerre in the last 3 games against them. We learn from this kind of team. We’ll see tomorrow what we learned from our last defeats against them.. They play the ball really well, with one of the best coaches in the division. We will be the little one tomorrow and we will fight with our values. »
