TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Counterpoint Research presents data on the global 5G mobile market. In the report Apple managed to dominate the market smartphone 5G globally.
From Counterpoint Research data quoting from the Bloomberg website on Monday (21/3/2022), Apple dominate market share smartphone 5G globally by 37 percent by January 2022.
Apple also outperformed the 5G smartphone manufacturers in the world, such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo. Apple itself is late in presenting its 5G smartphone compared to other manufacturers.

iPhone 5G belongs Apple itself was only introduced to the market in October 2020 last on the iPhone 12 Series range. Apple also revealed this to be a great achievement, considering Apple too late to bring the iPhone 5G.
Producer smartphone 5G like SamsungOppo, Xiaomi and Vivo has launched a network smartphone their 5G technology in 2019. Apple just launched one year later.
Samsung itself is the first 5G smartphone manufacturer in the world with the Galaxy S10 5G series. In a Counterpoint report, Samsung is currently in the second position as the leader of the global 5G mobile market.

Samsung has a 12 percent market share for smartphone 5G in the world. Even though it has a series smartphone Diversified 5G, market share smartphone 5G Samsung still far from the market share owned by Apple.
Meanwhile in positions three and four, occupied by Xiaomi and Vivo with their respective market shares smartphone 5G by 11 percent.
Then followed by Oppo which is in fifth position with a market share of 10 percent. 5G technology is indeed an attraction for users smartphonemanufacturers also bring the technology to the smartphone entry level dan mid-range.
