Deprived of the Coupe de France this season, Niort lives a dotted end of autumn, to the rhythm of a very clear schedule in Ligue 2. On Tuesday the Chamois will host Pau FC at the René-Gaillard stadium on behalf of the 19th day of Ligue 2, a duel of outsiders between two teams separated by only one point. At a press conference, CNFC coach Sébastien Desabre gave an update on the squad before discussing the upcoming match and the overall project.

On possible absentees: Darlin Yongwa will not be available tomorrow due to a minor knee sprain. Bryan Passi can apply to the group. Mathieu Michel will be on the bench tomorrow. »
The Chamois season: “ In terms of points objectives we are at 7 wins, we are looking to win 11 or 12 games to complete the championship. We are confident because we are more consistent in our matches. We have a quality group with a very good mentality. Here we are in a two-sided project, what will matter to us first is the result but also the progress of the team and the progress of the players in the team with young players to improve. Pau is a team with a completely different project than ours with the ambition to last as long as possible in Ligue 2 by trusting much more mature players. They have a dynamic and aggressive team spirit in the good sense of the word. »
