Hornets crush fatigued Mavs for 4th win

Miles Bridges scored 23 points, PJ Washington added a season-high 21, and the Charlotte Hornets thrashed the Dallas Mavericks 129-108 on Saturday.

The Hornets took advantage of a travel-worn team and earned their fourth straight win.

Terry Rozier scored 18 points, while LaMelo Ball and Kelly Oubre had 17 apiece for the Hornets, who shot 20 of 42 from 3-point range.

Luka Doncic finished with 37 points and eight 3-pointers for the Mavs, who played their fifth road game in eight nights. They also played on consecutive nights.

The Slovenian Doncic did not play in the fourth period, when the match was already defined.

The Hornets (36-35) moved into ninth place in the Eastern Conference, a half game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks. They are one game behind the Brooklyn Nets, who are eighth.
