There are 95 cases of dengue fever in Brebes throughout 2022, 5 people die

BREBESKOMPAS.com – From January to mid-March 2022, there were 95 cases recorded Dengue fever Dengue (DBD) in the District Brebes, Central Java. Of that number five people died.

Head of the Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Health Service, Imam Budi Santoso said the findings of dengue cases were almost evenly distributed in 16 sub-districts.

“Although the treatment has been intensive, 5 patients, the average age of whom is a child, died. 2 patients died in January and February 3,” said Imam, Friday (18/3/2022).

Of the 16 sub-districts, the details are, Brebes District has a total of 14 cases, Banjarharjo 12 cases, Wanasari 12 cases.

Then, Jatibarang 11 cases, Prohibition 10 cases, Bulakamba 6 cases, Liability 6 cases.

Followed by Losari 5 cases, Tonjong 5 cases, Salem and Songgom each 3 cases.

Furthermore, Paguyangan 2 cases, Tanjung, Sirampog and Bantarkawung 2 cases each.

Lastly, Kersana District has only 1 case in three months.

The details of the total number of DB cases, continued Imam, were 36 cases throughout January including 36 male patients and 15 female patients.

Then, in February 48 cases, namely 17 men and 31 women. Meanwhile, until the second week of March there were 11 patients.

According to Imam, DB endemic areas cannot be predicted because it really depends on environmental cleanliness.

The Head of Disease Prevention and Control, Johan Asanni, continued to try to optimize education and culture for eradicating mosquito nests with 3M Plus.
