The 85-year-old woman had left her home in Breda on Thursday for a short errand about 8 kilometers away. She had her GPS set up, but apparently not correctly.

Finally, she arrived on Thursday evening in Roisin, a borough of Honnelles, about 200 kilometers away. A local police patrol noticed her car around 11:40 PM. The woman at the wheel, who spoke no French, seemed disoriented and her GPS battery was apparently flat.

Police were concerned about the woman and tried unsuccessfully to contact her family. The agents then charged the GPS and programmed it correctly and the brave woman has returned home.
