Maserati is keeping us all in suspense thanks to its latest project, the Maserati Grecale. A car that has yet to come out and is already highly anticipated in Italy as in every corner of the globe, where prospective customers and enthusiasts can’t wait to get involved.
And speaking of this splendid and highly anticipated vehicle. After the first photos that portray her – it seems – as it actually is, some controversies arise from the web for a presumed similarity of the new Maserati car with the Ford Puma crossover.
Apparently, the two vehicles resemble each other and not a little in the details relating to the aesthetics of the car. Could it be true? Let’s try to understand each other more, with a photo that portrays both vehicles in a really interesting way.
Has Maserati Grecale “copied”? The offending photo
Maserati Grecale and Ford Puma. Two completely different cars. Or maybe not. The main similarities between the two cars concern in particular the shape of the headlights and the position of the front grille.
And in fact, the two models really seem to overlap. Even if a note is a must: who made the Grecale project a reality was inspired by the Maserati Levante and the Maserati MC20at least as regards the “indicted” details.
In fact, this model has been defined on several occasions as a sort of “little Levant”, precisely because of the similarity with its predecessor. On the rear, for example, the similarities with the Maserati Levante are not unclear.
That said, these discussions do not worry Grecale in the least, which will be Stellantis’ new entry in terms of luxury brands. And it will have the delicate task of increasing brand registrations in an important way.
The SUV will be presented on March 22 in Modena, as confirmed by the Italian automobiles company in recent weeks. Who knows if in the next few days our expectation will be accompanied by new images, with the debut that is getting closer and closer.
