This is how the West imagines the “international community”

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Zhao Lijianillustrated in a publication the concept that the West has of the international community, showing a “new” world map where only the USA, Australia, Japan and Europe appear.

“It is a universally recognized truth that when the West speaks of the ‘international community’, it means…,” the spokesperson wrote on Twitter as a preamble to presenting the image, which was broadcast and reviewed by RT.

The illustration shows only North America without Mexico, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, which appear small against the huge blue backdrop, while most of the world, including China, Russia, Latin America or Africa, simply does not exist.

The publication comes amid Beijing’s rejection of the West’s attitude towards the special military operation carried out by Russia in Ukraine.

The president of China, Xi Jinpingstated this Friday that in view of the current world situation, the West must advocate for peace, “one of its most precious treasures.”

“The Ukraine crisis is something we don’t want to see,” Xi said on Friday after his meeting with his American counterpart, Joe Biden, held via videoconference. “Conflict and confrontation are in no one’s interest,” he added.

According to the Chinese president, the entire international community must support the dialogue between Moscow and kyiv.

USA. The US and NATO should also engage in dialogue with Russia to resolve the essence of the Ukraine crisis and resolve the security concerns of both Russia and Ukraine,” Xi said.
