Last Friday, nine classes had closed their doors because of the coronavirus. This week, this figure has increased to 19, thus multiplying by more than 2 the number of closed classes. This data nevertheless remains low, because it represents only 0.09% of the 21,530 classes that form the Lyon academy.
All of these classes, which could not accommodate their students, were in schools. Colleges and high schools were spared.

Positive cases are on the rise
This week, there were still 2,413 confirmed cases of Covid-19 out of the 638,300 students at the Lyon Academy. This represents 0.38% of pupils. A low figure, but still a slight increase compared to last week (980 students with Covid).
Over the past seven days, 7 members of the teaching staff have been affected by the virus out of 44,932, or 0.07% of the workforce.
And among all these figures, one statistic remains constant: no school structure out of the 2,663 identified has been closed. Which was not the case last January.
