The composer from Austin (Texas) John Andrew Paris He has been creating electronic music leaning towards ambient for decades and collaborating with numerous artists of the caliber of Arthur Brown, DJ Rev Kathy Russell, DJ Lucas Ray, Catastrophe Ballet, Le Reve, Life’s Eyes, Beast of Eden, OBOYO or Don Wigwam.

Paris has also created the music for the historical documentary “Andy Paris: Bubble Gum King” and the horror short film “Spectral Wind.”

“I wrote, recorded and mastered this album in my home studio in Austin. Although I later moved to Brownsville, this is a recording from Austin, and most of it was conceived during the pandemic. Some pieces are pre-pandemic in an embryonic state, but it was in 2020 that I got down to work completing those early pieces and writing new ones. My inspiration for these pieces is that you never really know when you’re going to die, so whatever you do, you better do it now,” says Paris.

Cinematic and ethereal, Paris Music Corp.’s music exudes ambient and space electronica, often with elements of ’80s dark vibes and soundscapes. His signature sound includes heavily processed guitar and bass instruments, locked into layered loops and further manipulated via software. He also employs live otganic percussion. These dense soundscapes take the listener on a sound journey to otherworldly places. A highly recommended album.
