Putin Without Hesitating Press The Nuclear Red Button If Losing Power

WASHINGTON – A defector Russia say President’s hand Vladimir Putin will not hesitate to press the “red button” attack command nuclear weapons if he loses power.

Alex Konanykhin left Russia in 1992 and seven years later became the first Russian citizen to be granted political asylum in the United States (US).

Earlier this month, the businessman announced via social media that he was offering a $1 million reward for Putin’s arrest.

He told Express.co.uk his motive for doing this was because he did not want to be confused by the vast majority of Russians who actively support or are secretly involved in Putin’s war against Ukraine. PostingKonanykhin’s social media received millions like and great media attention.

The Russian defector had warned of the dangers of the Putin regime for years and in 2014 started a petition calling for the White House to designate Russia as “State Sponsor of Terrorism“.

Konanykhin said he believed that the conflict in Ukraine could escalate into a nuclear war, unlike most people think.

To date, the only use of nuclear weapons during the conflict was in 1945 when the US dropped atomic bombs on two Japanese cities; Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, three weeks ago Putin said that he ordered Russia’s nuclear weapons to be placed in combat-ready status.

This has raised concerns that the Kremlin could use tactical nuclear weapons.
