A photo of a Porsche Cayenne with a STIB sticker on the driver’s door is doing the rounds on social media. “This car is certainly not part of our fleet”, spokesman An Van Hamme said.
It remains to be seen as to the motives of the owner of the Porsche. STIB thinks it’s a joke or that it’s a big fan of the transport company.
According to the French-language newspaper La Capitale, which was able to trace the owner of the car, it would be “an efficient way to circumvent fines”. It is not clear to what extent the operation was successful.
