On Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden talked during a video conversation in which the war in Ukraine was a central theme.

During the conversation, Xi stated that war and conflict are not in anyone’s interest, reports the news agency Reuters, which quotes the Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.
