The high corona numbers in the region are noticeable again in several Lower Franconian hospitals. The University Hospital of Würzburg announced on Friday that “plannable and non-urgent treatments can currently be postponed at short notice”. A press release states that the university hospital is currently treating “a large number” of patients who are infected with the coronavirus. On the other hand, “there is a persistent absence of employees due to isolation requirements or illness”.
