Antonio Blanco is likely to be a part of Real Madrid’s professional squad from next season. According to Marca, the Spanish record champions want to install a player from their own academy in Carlo Ancelotti’s wing. Blanco is in pole position for this.
The 21-year-old leads the Castilla team as captain and already trains regularly with the pros. Ancelotti has often given Blanco a mandate in the matchday squad, which has only resulted in two competitive appearances this season.
