BBC pays ‘significant’ compensation to former princess Diana secretary and apologizes

BBC, Britain’s public broadcaster, has paid “significant” compensation to Princess Diana’s former private secretary, Patrick Jephson. He resigned after a controversial 1995 interview with Diana that was fraudulently taken by journalist Martin Bashir. Earlier investigations have shown that the BBC had covered up the case.
