The Republican senator made another similar call on Wednesday Washington time. He wanted the Russian number one gone for good.
Asked if he still thinks Putin should be ousted, Graham said: “Yeah, I hope he will be removed one way or another.”

However, Graham offered an alternative scenario in which Putin would be arrested and tried for war crimes by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
“I don’t care how they take him out. I don’t care if we send him to The Hague and put him on trial; I just want him to go,” Graham said, as quoted by New York Daily NewsThursday (17/3/2022).
The conservative senator “stirred the beehive” earlier this month when he called on Russia’s ruling elite to kill Putin to end the invasion of Ukraine.
“The only way this ends is someone in Russia taking this guy out,” Graham wrote on Twitter.
He later said he would support Putin’s imprisonment as punishment for ordering the invasion.
