Since the war there, communication has been going on almost around the clock – the volunteers from the region are trying everything to support their Ukrainian colleagues.

For Udo Pfistner, what is currently happening with the partners in Ukraine is very close: he spent eight years in Freiburg’s twin city of Lemberg, Lviv in Ukrainian. His wife is Ukrainian. The eldest of the two daughters and their children lived in Ukraine until recently. And many friends are still there.
