Hanover (dpa / lni) – In Lower Saxony there are many regions in which fertilization has been too intensive in recent decades – with corresponding negative consequences for the groundwater. The situation has improved recently, but farmers in many regions still have to accept restrictions. Minister of Agriculture Barbara Otte-Kinast (CDU) and the Chamber of Agriculture want to present to the public on Wednesday (11.30 a.m.) how the fertilizer situation has developed in the past twelve months.
