Opened in 1932, Australia’s most famous road winds along the rugged coastline west of Melbourne. It’s over Eucalyptus forests, cliffs and finally to the Twelve Apostles. The limestone pillars grace many a postcard of Australia, but standing on the observation deck with your hair tousled in the wind is a very special moment. If you are looking for a motorhome route in Australia, there are a few more insider tips ready, then you should have Western Australia on your radar. Here many beaches are still evident wilder and lonelier than on the popular east coast. This is primarily due to the fact that western Australia is much more sparsely populated. If you want to experience as much as possible of Australia by camper, you can’t avoid this route. From the north of the country it goes with the mobile home once across the outback down to the south.
