The coronavirus pandemic has been going on for more than two years, and countries are going through different realities as new mutations of the virus appear and the world’s vaccination plan advances. In this March 14, in Turkey 24,404 new cases of Covid-19 patients and 133 deaths were registered, as detailed by the health authorities.
To the date, Turkey accumulates a total of 14,576,069 infected with coronavirus and 96,620 deaths.
Turkey is in the 8th position of the countries with the highest number of people infected by coronavirus. The top ten list is made up as follows: United States (81,198,441 cases), India (42,995,560 cases), Brazil (29,380,063 cases), France (23,532,997 cases), United Kingdom (19,530,485 cases), Russia (17,376,241 cases), Germany (17,342,351 cases), Turkey (14,576,069 cases), Italy (13,402,905 cases), Spain (11,223,974 cases).
Covid 19 vaccination in Turkey as of March 14
The vaccination campaign against the coronavirus in Turkey reaches a total of 146,243,976 doses applied as of March 14. Of that number, 57,734,779 people received one dose, while 52,897,465 already have both doses. From these amounts, it can be deduced that 73.32% of the population received the first vaccine, while 67.18% already have both doses. In addition, 45.23% by the way already have a reinforcement.
Regarding the level of immunization of the population, Turkey it is in position 51, with 146,243,976 applied doses. The list of the first 10 countries is made up as follows: Malta (1.283.448); Chile (49.976.111); Maldives (911.964); Iceland (849.110); Singapore (13.651.279); United Arab Emirates (24.303.054); Portugal (25.291.883); Bahrain (3.375.361); Cambodia (37.359.132); South Korea (121.444.753).
If the population density is considered, 67.18% with two doses showing Turkey, place it in 69th place in the world ranking. This list is headed by these nations: Malta (99.99%); Maldives (99.99%); Brunei (98.2%); United Arab Emirates (96.94%); Chile (95.01%); Portugal (90.75%); China (89.63%); Singapore (89.13%); Cambodia (88.83%); Cuba (88.05%).
