Detachment 88 Anti-terror Police arrest one suspect terrorist in Tangerang Regency, Banten. The terrorist suspect arrested by Densus 88 is a civil servant (PNS) at the Tangerang Regency Agriculture Service.
The head of the Tangerang Regency Agriculture Service (Kadisperta) Azis Gunawan confirmed this. He mentioned that his arrested men were named Tobiin.
“Yes, that’s right, that’s right (arrested by Densus 88). Just before dawn at the mosque near where he lives in East Sepatan. His name is Tobiin,” said Azis when contacted detik.comTuesday (15/3/2022).
Azis confirmed that Tobiin’s status in Disperta had been a civil servant for about ten years. Azis has reported this arrest to the Tangerang Regency Secretary.
“It’s true, yes, civil servants. It’s been from CPNS in Disperta here for about ten years or more. Indeed, he graduated from agriculture from Unila. That’s right, he was arrested, leading him there (alleged terrorism).
Tobiin served as staff at Disperta. Azis said he was shocked by the arrest.
“Agricultural machine tool analysis staff. Ordinary staff, not structural officials. I was quite surprised myself, yes. Tobiin has a good temper, lots of ideas, lots of ideas, yes, he has the ability. There are no signs as suspected for his arrest,” he said.
Azis first received news of the arrest from the Tobiin family. “It was his family, his wife, who told me over the phone that after returning from the mosque, (Tobiin) did not return home. finish Fajr prayer. It will also not be long before the Detachment authorities, yes, to Tobiin’s house, to his family, say that they are secured,” he explained.
Azis added that his party fully handed over the legal process to the authorities. Law enforcement, Azis explained, must still be applied.
“Yes, it means that I am the government, if I am wrong, then action will be taken, according to the rules, there is no favoritism for anyone who acts. We still regret it, but law enforcement must still be enforced,” he concluded.
As previously reported, Tobiin was arrested at around 4:52 am today. Tobiin was detained by Densus 88 in the Sepatan area, Tangerang.
