The 27-year-old artist, whose real name is Jorik Scholten, was arrested last month. He is said to have jammed his fiancée’s head between a car door. After three nights in jail, the examining magistrate decided that his pre-trial detention was suspended. The Public Prosecution Service disagreed and appealed. This was followed by a session at the council chamber, which ruled that Lil Kleine had to be detained for another fourteen days.
Those two weeks have now passed and the council chamber has again looked at the case. The Amsterdam court says the following: ‘A 27-year-old man suspected of attempted aggravated assault will be suspended from pre-trial detention tomorrow under certain conditions, pending the substantive hearing of the criminal case against him.’

Jaimie first reacted to the events two weeks ago. When someone accused her of setting up Lil Kleine, she had had enough. “I normally never respond, but the stories are getting crazier. I’m a full-time mother who suddenly finds herself alone. I have a lot of heartbreak to process in an unreal situation. The last thing I’m doing is luring Jorik into a trap” , said Jamie.
“These are Jorik’s actions that have been stopped in an unfortunate and harsh way. There are no winners, only losers,” she concluded her statement.
